10 Weeks!

I am now 10 weeks along! Double digits! A quarter of the way there! :)

Here's what my handy dandy web md email had to tell me about the development this week:

"Although he's barely the size of a kumquat — a little over an inch or so long, crown to bottom — and weighs less than a quarter of an ounce, your baby now has completed the most critical portion of his development. This is the beginning of the so-called fetal period, a time when the tissues and organs in his body rapidly grow and mature. If you could take a peek inside your womb, you'd spot minute details, like tiny nails forming on fingers and toes (no more webbing) and peach-fuzz hair beginning to grow on tender skin."

Crazy all the stuff they know! :)

In other news - the bedrooms are mostly switched now. Our house is looking quite different! I spend a good portion of my weekend on the couch watching furniture go from room to room. My mom came over and cleaned my house! Love mom!!! I thought after all the switching was done that I should have taken pics of before and after. I think that I may have some befores somewhere on my computer. I'll try to post the new views when those rooms finally look acceptable. That could be a while. Still a lot more things to clean out. How did we acquire so much stuff?!?

Can you send your mom to come clean my house too?
